牛頓中文學校成人國畫班師生國畫聯展已在紐英崙藝術協會展開，共展出16位參展師生的30幅精美的山水花鳥畫作。

牛頓中文學校有著超過千名的學生每周日前去學習中文，而在教室外等待小孩的父母和祖父母，形成了另一個大的社區群體。順應需求，牛頓中文學校開設了畫畫、下棋、唱歌和舞蹈等供家長學習和交流的文化班，而國畫就是其中一個。


譚嘉陵班上的班長王玉雙，已經跟隨他們學習十多年，她表示，起初選擇國畫班是欣賞和喜歡譚老師，在等孩子上中文學校的空檔學習國畫；而現在孩子已經都上大學了，上國畫班學習的更多是做人。

Ms. Hao and Ms. Shen are residents of Lexington.  Under the guidance of Ms. Cathy Chen, the Chair of Boston Performance Art Foundation, they have practiced Chinese brush painting for more than 10 years.  They have had group or solo art exhibits and Chinese painting workshops in some towns in metropolitan Boston area, New Hampshire and Maine.   Currently, they are learning and teaching Chinese painting in Newton Chinese School.

You are very welcome to experience the beauty blooming flowers and lively birds on paper. We hope you enjoy the art show.
